Welcome to the Recruitment portion of our website. If you are interested in a multitude of information, please check out the FAQ for general information. If you find that this does not answer your question, please contact our Senior Rush Chairman Alex Johnson or Matt Johnson and they will be glad to help you out.
At Beta sigma Psi, we are always welcome to see new faces, and if you feel you are a new face we should see, please submit your information so we can get in contact and let the fun begin with our RUSH events and brotherhood.
As we are a Lutheran fraternity, churches can be our biggest help in finding out who may be interested in joining. We recommend letting the youth groups know of our existence so they can surely stay in touch with God as they transition through college. Likewise, we'd appreciate churches to submit high school members and contact information (Don't worry, we don't sell information. We hate receiving telemarketing calls just as much as you do).
While we hope you would be coming to the University of Illinois, there are many other chapters throughout different colleges and universities, and we highly suggest looking into their chapters. At the very least, find a local Lutheran Church at your college, as faith goes a long way in making the college experience.
Incoming freshmen should look to Beta Sigma Psi for a number of different things. First off, there is one scholarship available for $3300 and many finalists for $1000. Parking is available behind the house at $50 per semester or $100 per year. Living in house costs only $6,600 per year as opposed to the cheapest at $7,232 in the dorms. Besides the lower price, you have more than just a room. You have a whole house to live in. That includes a kitchen and general living rooms, and not to mention a pool table, ping pong tables, and a large TV with stadium couch seating to name a few... Any of the brothers will be willing to help you along with schoolwork so you understand what's going on as opposed to going through the motions. With a file cabinet full of past tests, this also provides good study materials for the various midterms and final exams.
Upon arriving at college, there are a few things worth noting as is demonstrated by the pictures. College is a very social time in your life, and one way to have flat out fun is by joining a fraternity. One thing I personally noticed is that all the silly little things that were played as elementary schoolers, are back in. First and foremost, the true purpose of college is education, and the brothers here realize that. But there is nothing wrong with having a clean and jolly good time either.

Here's a picture of our fine house, located just two blocks from one of the 22ILLINI's stops.

Each spring we have a formal, called the Gold Rose. Here's a picture from our Gold Rose 2006.

Here's a picture of some of us at our spring party. Each party we host has a different theme and this one was called "The Pants Party."
...the rules were to dress like characters from the movie Anchorman or wear crazy pants...or in Adam's case a crazy kilt...

Did you know that greek organizations are the leading philanthropic organization on campus? Well if not they are. Our neighboring sorority had their spring philanthropy, called the "Krazee bowl" and this is a picture from our team, which won best dressed.
