Beta Sigma Psi
Alpha Chapter
University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign
Welcome to the new website of Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Psi. Founded over 80 years ago at the University of Illinois, our organization is committed to being an active participant in the Greek, campus, and greater Lutheran community, as well as helping its members transform from High School seniors into well-rounded Christian gentlemen throughout the course of their collegiate career. We help our members reach this through our three pillars, also known as our three S’s: Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social. It is our belief that only a balance of these three principles will create the foundation necessary for an ideal Lutheran member of society. More information about our chapter can be found on the pages of this website and further questions can be directed to our recruitment.
Mission Statement
To promote an organization of communicant Lutheran men who recognize that life rooted with Christ in God is the only true goal of human existence and who therefore foster, encourage, and inspire activities and relationships which promote this end.
"The object for which Beta Sigma Psi is formed is a social fraternity, limited to Lutheran Students banded together for the purpose of promoting the social welfare of its members."
