Beta Sigma Psi
Alpha Chapter
University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign
Founded over 85 years ago at the University of Illinois, Beta Sigma Psi is committed to helping its members transform from High School seniors into well-rounded Christian gentlemen. To achieve this goal, we strive to live our lives by our three pillars, also known as our three S’s: Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social. It is our belief that only a balance of these three principles will create the foundation necessary for an ideal Lutheran member of society.
Mission Statement
To promote an organization of communicant Lutheran men who recognize that life rooted with Christ in God is the only true goal of human existence and who therefore foster, encourage, and inspire activities and relationships which promote this end.
"The object for which Beta Sigma Psi is formed is a social fraternity, limited to Lutheran Students banded together for the purpose of promoting the social welfare of its members."
